How does BB Glow Work?
Since there is a micro pigment particles in serum, the secret is in the application. It is applied to the outermost layer of skin, which is the epidermis, giving the skin a temporary glow.
Nano needling which is used in BB Glow Treatments should not be confused with Micro Needling. Although there are some similarities, there are many distinct differences.
Differences Between Nano Needling and Micro Needling
- Cosmetic treatment
- Treats in upper layers of epidermis
- Transdermal delivery system
- Nano channels for increase effectiveness of serums
- No downtime or pain
- Microscopic silicon needles 1/3 thickness of hair
- Needle depth 0.15mm
- Medical procedure or high specialist skin care practitioner needs to administer
- Create micro-injuries for wound healing response
- Treats through the epidermis down to deep dermis
- Needle depth from 0.25 to 2.5mm
- Needle size is 33 gauge
- Numbing cream required
- 12-48 hour downtime
Nano Needling is the only non-invasive treatment which acts more effectively than “micro-needling” treatments. It does not injure, tear or damage the skin. When these pins gently touch the skin, they form up to 200,000 invisible Nano channels. This is how the BB Glow treatment is delivered. Serum is applied to epidermis. Needles are only 0.01-0.02mm, there is no room for error. Epidermis is between 0.01-0.15, so there is no need to guess or worry about going too deep.
